DIY Felt Corgi Ornament (with Pattern)
👉 Buy this beginner pattern
There’s just something about a corgi that makes me smile – maybe it’s those tiny legs, that fluffy little bum, or the way they always look a bit too proud of themselves. After finishing up a few wintery felt ornaments, I wanted to design something a little more playful… and this DIY felt corgi ornament might just be my new favourite.
Just like my other felt animal ornaments, this one is designed to be simple, cozy, and totally customizable. You can keep it classic with warm caramel tones, or switch things up with a festive scarf, tiny embroidered details, or even a little heart on the side.
My Felt Corgi Ornament Pattern

Supplies You’ll Need:
- Felt
- Pattern and instructions
- Embroidery thread
- 3 mm black bead (for the eye)
- Wool stuffing (or scrap felt)
- Hand sewing needle
As always, don’t feel like you need to buy everything. These ornaments are meant to be budget-friendly and a great way to use up scraps. You can easily embroider the eye instead of using a bead, or skip embellishments entirely for a simpler look.

Final Thoughts
I love how this little corgi turned out – it’s quirky, cozy, and has just enough personality to stand out on the tree. Like all of my felt ornament patterns, this one is easy to adapt and make your own, whether you keep it simple or dress it up with beads and embroidery.
If you give this DIY felt corgi ornament a try, I’d love to see how you customize it!
